Went to work today. On the way home, I went to Chipotle® for dinner. On the way back to the subway station, I hear sirens and look behind me and see police on motorcycles. Then 4 buses come around the corner off Pratt St. onto President. I am trying to figure out what is going on and if I will ever get across the street. Then 2 white girls start screaming. Turns out it was the Indianapolis Colts going to their hotel, the Marriott Waterfront! They passed right by me, all 4 buses. Needless to say, I was at the Marriott last night trying to get a cab and was dressed up with hair and everything in place and today I looked a hot mess. The man of my dreams could have been on one of those buses and I looked horrid! LIFE!
Off tomorrow because it is my Pastor's last Sunday. I do not think that I am staying at DMCC. Might join St. James Episcopal. I will miss him dearly. Supposed to go to Atlanta to pastor Ebenezer Baptist.

The First day of SENIOR year was crazy. I have been running around all day like a chicken with its head cut off! First, I must take the damned bus and anyone in Baltimore knows that our transporatation system is not worth a plug nickel. Anyway, we got our little senior tote bags, reserved for seniors and alumnae board members only (oh my) and we had the senior procession from the opening convocation, then it was back and forth across campus all day! Then I had to take the bus back home and walk so more. My legs are like jelly and I may have dislocated my right elbow from carrying my heavy tote bag and ny right shoulder hurts. Thank God I only have 2 more days!
Kanye West is supposed to speak tonight about his comments. What is there to say? It is the truth and I hope that he gives no form of an apology whatsoever!

How inappropriate...

...for these damned reporters to deem people from this country "refugees." Naturally most of the people affected by this storm are the same people who built this country and now we are "refugees?" It is utterly ridiculous how the news media dictates to the American people what we are and how we are. They are asking people what they need: what don't they need?! Instead of asking asinine questions, they should be trying to help someone. Then again, why would they help us, if they can arrest and pluck off as many of us as possible without claiming full responsibility? For everyone that trusted their great President and government up until now, I hope that you all see what this country is really about. We were sending aid to the people hit by the tsunami the NEXT DAY and they cannot get the damned Red Cross and National Guard to New Orleans until 3 or 4 days later.
